What if we combined the premium design language of an iPhone with the simplicity and practicality of a traditional feature phone?

Introducing COMN A1 Pro, an original mobile phone concept design that brings together modern aesthetics, classic keypad functionality and a distinctive design identity.

This is a conceptual design developed under the COMN brand, with a vision of creating a stylish, compact and user-friendly feature phone.

1. Design Philosophy

COMN A1 Pro takes inspiration from the premium appearance of the iPhone Pro series while maintaining the familiar form factor of a feature phone.

The design focuses on:

• Premium iPhone-inspired body styling.
• Compact and rounded rectangular form factor.
• Smooth, glossy and colourful body finish.
• Dedicated physical keypad.
• Modern camera and speaker arrangement.
• Simple and elegant COMN branding.

The objective is simple: A feature phone that looks like a premium smartphone.

2. Rear Panel Design

The rear panel is designed with a clean, plain-colour finish and a distinctive camera and speaker housing at the top.

Its key elements include:

• Dual Speaker Array: Two vertically arranged circular speaker grilles on the left side.
• Main Camera: A dedicated camera lens positioned in the second column.
• Torch Light: Positioned at the top of the right-side vertical section.
• IR Blaster: Positioned below the torch.
• A1 Pro Identity: A compact vertical design arrangement for the camera module.
• COMN Branding: Centrally positioned on the rear panel.

The camera housing follows the modern camera-island design language of premium smartphones while retaining its own identity.

3. Front Panel Design

The front panel combines a colour-matched body with a traditional feature-phone layout.

Top section:

• Front camera on the left.
• Black pill-shaped earpiece speaker in the centre.
• Torch light on the right.

The black speaker pill creates a distinctive modern appearance inspired by the Dynamic Island design language of iPhones.

Display section:

A compact colour display provides the essential mobile interface, including time, date, signal strength, battery status and menu options.

Keypad section:

The physical keypad features:

• Rounded navigation button.
• Rounded soft keys.
• Dedicated green call and red end-call buttons.
• Standard 0–9 numeric keypad.
• Star and hash keys.

All buttons follow the phone's exterior colour scheme, creating a consistent appearance.
